The Antarctique combines sophisticated style and aesthetics with Czapek’s first in-house movement. The Antartique raises a host of associations, from intrepid explorers to the sheer breath-taking beauty of Nature. The Sixth Continent also signifies the need for environmental preservation, and represents Czapek’s commitment to doing so with the use of recycled platinum.
Movement design, rare and fine finishing, select materials, intricate case surfaces, and attention to detail, are all key factors that increase a timepiece's value. The Antarctique's dials are manufactured by Czapek’s partner Metalem with various techniques, such as a “flinqué” dial with a beautiful trapezoidal pattern named “Stairway to Eternity” and hand-varnishing.
